True hidden gem of Augusta. Mrs. Tammy instantly makes anyone feel at home at The Chef’s House. The energy in this establishment is warm and inviting. It’s a bit tight but cozy, and very clean. The brisket sauce is amazing, and it paired perfectly with the mac and cheese. And for all you sweet tea lovers, theirs is killer.

Oh my goodness!!! This was the highlight of my visit to Piedmont Medical in Augusta. My appointment was early, but they wanted to do additional testing later in the afternoon. This left me to find a good lunch spot. I found a highly rated southern cooking kind of restaurant, Chef's House. Tammy is now my new best friend, the atmosphere is pure goodness and the food, every.single.bite, was better than the last, right down to the hot peach cobbler and ice cream. Yummy! Hopefully I'll get the all clear and not need to return, but if I do, I'll surely be back to visit Tammy and George. What a wonderful few hours. I'll be back either way!! Highly recommend!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If I could give this blessed family more than 5 stars, I would most definitely would. This woman Tammy is an awesome woman of God her husband the Chef is amazing in the kitchen and her staff have all kind non-judgmental hearts. I'm from the Chattanooga area and would take the 3 and a half hour drive just to visit here again. I recommend this wonderful place to anyone around. Thank you Tammy and family for an amazing dinner. Hope your blessed and prosper 10 fold. In one picture it's the owner sitting with my mom chit chatting.

Here for a convention and I am so glad I found this restaurant. The food is absolutely AMAZING!!! The fried chicken is so crispy and very well flavored. The collard greens are seasoned perfectly along with the cheesy macaroni and cheese. The southern peach cobbler melts in your mouth. Chef George and Ms. Tammie are the perfect host/hostess. It's stationed in a house and truly feels like home. Well worth the price.

Truly a hidden gem. The building has lots of character and spice and very clean. The food is so delicious and healthy ( no pork in the veggies). The owners are absolutely the kindest people - they make you feel like family. I love Ms. Tammie and Chef George. The fried chicken can't be beat. I will definitely be back!!!

This was the BEST soul food restaurant I have ever been to. Hands down. This tastes like how the restaurants use to taste back in the day. The salmon? IMMACULATE. Fried pork chops? Nearly threw my fork down it was so good. But yall the cobbler?? I don’t even like cobbler and I cleaned that plate. The service was amazing and you can tell that everyone there genuinely cares about what they do. It’s buffet style so you can get as much as you want and the atmosphere is clean and comforting. 10/10

Hospitality, food and service was excellent! I found a new spot. It's small and quaint, but the atmosphere amazing. If I could add more stars I would. I believe it's one of the best hidden spots in Augusta. If want good food and you're health conscious, you must try it. Bon appetit!

Visiting from Texas so we wanted something we can’t get at home! This place was delicious as well as so warm and welcoming! Home made food, that’s tasted like it came from your nanas kitchen! And the good ole southern vibe was so homey and welcoming. Perfect little hidden gem!
